Eastern Counties Rugby Union

Following the recent AGM failing to be quorate, it is necessary for Eastern Counties to hold a Special General Meeting to conduct the important business that was unable to be concluded as planned. It was disappointing that of over 40 member Clubs, we only had representatives in attendance from Ipswich, Mistley, Lakenham Union, Thetford, Colchester, Suffolk RU and Cambridgeshire RU. Understanding that your Club Golden Roles may have changed hands in recent weeks, and perhaps GMS has not yet been updated, this calling notice is being sent to a wider selection of Club committee members than the AGM calling notice, to support more Clubs representing themselves.

The Special General Meeting will take place online via Microsoft Teams on Monday 28th July, commencing at 19:30.

Clubs should nominate a person to be responsible for the voting matters, and Club representatives are required to complete this short form to indicate their intentions of either voting on the night or pre-voting (closing 24 hours before the meeting).
